High Life Highland & Adult and Youth Services

Adult and Youth Services, as part of Community Learning and Leisure, supports the personal development and lifelong learning of young people and adults in Highland. Adult Learning encourages people to acquire knowledge and skills, share knowledge and skill with others, develop critical awareness, realise their full potential, make informed choices and enjoy learning. A wide range of community–based classes, informal groups, certificated classes, plus information and guidance on learning opportunities is available. Youth Services support young people to develop as successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors through a variety of projects and opportunities in the communities across Highland, including opportunities to extend learning through accredited courses.
