If you are looking for a job or need help seeking work, Jobcentre Plus can offer a range of support and advice. Jobcentre Plus can help you find out about the latest jobs available as well as advice on how and where to look for jobs and how best to approach employers.
For help with job seeking and new skills to help you back to work click on the “Find Your Way Back To Work” link on the homepage of www.direct.gov.uk. You can also use the online job search facility to look for voluntary work in your area.
Volunteering can help you gain valuable skills and experience to give you the edge in a tough labour market. You can also contact Jobseeker Direct, a quick and easy phone service offered by Jobcentre Plus, which keeps you in touch with the latest job vacancies and helps you find the job that's right for you.
