Addictions Counselling Inverness
Are you struggling with addiction?
We provide specialist counselling for individuals and families impacted by addictive behaviours and dependencies.
Addictions Counselling Inverness (ACI) is a Third Sector organisation and is funded by NHS Highland to provide free and confidential one-to-one counselling for adults with addiction or substance misuse issues.
The ACI volunteer counsellor team support clients with a range of addiction issues including alcohol, drugs and gambling. Advice and information is also available.
ACI covers Inverness, Nairn and Badenoch & Strathspey and counselling sessions take place in their Inverness office. Outreach sessions may also be available in other locations in Nairn and Badenoch & Strathspey, depending on service capacity. The service is person-centred and holistic in approach, supporting people to explore and address their issues.
Referrals are accepted from:
- individuals - just contact us direct to arrange an appointment
- other services & agencies, such as Osprey House or Social Work
- Criminal Justice agencies
- business and organisations whose staff are experiencing problems with addiction
