New Start Highland
New Start Highland works to help young people to realise the valuable potential within themselves. New Start provides a range of services from practical assistance in setting up a home to work experience, vocational qualifications and life skills coaching to help equip young people for a sustainable future.
New Start Highland Training provides Introduction to Warehouse and Storage Principles, Painting Techniques, Retail Operations, Administration, and Horticulture.
We offer a City and Guilds qualification in Warehousing
New Start Highland provides services to the community in four main areas:
- Providing furniture and electrical items F.O.C (through referrals)
- Housing Support
- Support and Training for Employment in a real work place + City and Guilds Qualifications
- Structured Volunteering placements
In addition, New Start Highland has the following services available:
New and re-used Furniture & Electrical items available to the public at affordable prices at the following locations:
Church Street and Highland House Bargain Basement in Inverness, Dingwall, Fort William, Wick and Thurso.
We also offer Storage and Removals and FREE collection service of surplus household items
