Birchwood Highland Recovery Centre Inverness (18+)
Birchwood Highland Recovery Centre is a residential 23 bedded unit for individuals with mental ill health and complex needs.
Accommodation includes 11 self–contained flats and 12 single rooms.
Staff provide 24 hour support to service users and work to the Recovery Model and use a person–centred approach.
Qualified and experienced staff provide the care and support required to assist each service user to work towards their recovery and build /re–build links with the community.
Birchwood Highland Recovery Centre also provides a respite service, where available, for periods of up to 2 weeks. This service can be used as a crisis intervention tool for individuals or to allow carers a break.
Birchwood Highland Recovery Centre is for adults (over 18s) with diagnosed mental ill health who actively want to work with us towards their recovery.
While there is no time limit placed on any individual’s stay at Birchwood Highland Recovery Centre, the aim is for service users to return to the community as soon as they are able to do so.
