Our programmes are all virtual making them easily accessible for all students regardless of geographical location or socio-economic background. Students can plan their own schedule completing work related tasks to develop skills and experience to use as evidence in future applications to jobs, apprenticeships and university. Live webinars with professionals offer unique insights and a chance for young people to ask the questions that are important to them.
We have a whole range of career industries covered including Politics, Law, Engineering, Finance, Business, Psychology, TV and Film, Technology, Teaching, Health Care and Dentistry. We work with leading employers such as Specsavers, NHS, Fujitsu, Barclays, Siemens and Atkins to develop impactful work experience programmes which both inform student career choice and develop industry relevant skills. The latest opportunities can be viewed here.
Young people can also explore university subjects to gain insights into both course content and university life. Our degree tasters can be viewed here.
Free resources to support schools and colleges can be found here.
We support the DYW agenda to increase the work related learning opportunities for young people in Scotland through both work experience and meaningful employer engagement.
