Pulteneytown People’s Project - Stage 2
What do we offer at Stage 2?
You will undertake a 12-16 week programme where you will gain valuable work experience within Pulteney Centre or with another employer. You will attend one day of training each week working towards a qualification.
Who can apply?
This programme is suitable for anyone who is aged 16+ and is not in education, training or employment, but is looking to develop employability skills.
What can you achieve?
You will work towrds achieving a minimum of 18 SCQF Level 3 points in Personal Development and the core skill areas of Communication, ICT, Numeracy, Problem Solving and Working with Others. Qualifications can include: Award in Core Skills or an Employability Award. On successful completion of Stage 2 you can progress to Stage 3, further education Modern Apprenticeship or employment
Can I get a training allowance?
You could receive a training allowance of £55 per week for taking part in the Employability Fund or if you are registered with the Job Centre you could receive a training allowance equal to your DWP benefit allowance.
