- Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA) - a benefit for people who are unemployed and looking for work

- Carer’s Allowance - an allowance when you care for someone who is disabled and in receipt of certain benefits
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA) - a benefit for disabled children and adults to help with extra costs you may have because you're disabled
- Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit - a benefit relating to illness or disability caused by an accident or event that happened at work
- Bereavement Benefits - a range of benefits relating to financial hardship due to the death of a close family member

- Budgeting Loans - loan to purchase important items

- Crisis Loans - loan in an emergency

- Cold Weather Payments - help with increased heating costs due to 7 days of consecutive cold weather (below zero degrees celcius)
- Community Care Grants - financial help to live independently
- Funeral Payments - help with the costs of arranging a funeral
- Sure Start Maternity Grant - a one-off payment to help with the costs of maternity and baby items
