Marys Meals - Youth Ambassador Role
Our youth ambassador role is available for people aged between 14-21 who are keen to support the work of Mary’s Meals to help feed children in need. You will be a representative of Mary’s Meals and will help them grow by sharing their story in your school, college, university or community. This role can either be carried out individually or by a group of people from the same institution.
Key activities which can be carried out include, delivering talks in your school/community, supporting the organisation with fundraising events, using social media to promote volunteer opportunities and reach a wider audience, showing screenings of our Mary’s Meals film, helping to develop Mary’s Meals Youth Days and a youth committee and supporting in admin tasks. Ambassadors can talk with their Mary’s Meals contact to discuss what tasks suit them best. This role is flexible and can work around all other time commitments.
This role will allow ambassadors to learn many new skills and gain volunteering experience which is positive for future prospects. Volunteers will be able to meet like-minded people, and develop their confidence and communication. Overall, this work offers a fulfilling experience for ambassadors, as they play a key part in reaching the next child in need. Acknowledgement of the contribution you have made to Mary’s Meals in the form of a letter detailing experience and achievements
