Mainstream Post-16 Education and Training

At Stage 3 you may require further learning to successfully compete in the labour market.  You will have the opportunity to undertake work experience and volunteering opportunities in a sector of your choice.

Who is it for?

Stage 3 is for you if you are ready to compete in the labour market.

What are the outcomes?

You will have the opportunity to achieve awards and qualifications which are equivalent to National 4, Intermediate 1 and General Level Standard Grade. You could create a CV, identify and apply for jobs, gain effective interview skills and consider the type of work that would suit you best.

What skills do you need to build?

Working towards Stage 4

Progression could be into further training at Stage 4, full or part time employment, or Further Education.
