At Stage 1 you could have experienced a disrupted school education or have an additional support need. You will require intensive tailored support to be able to access skills for life, learning and work. This will help you to undertake further learning and training opportunities or volunteering and will give you the confidence to consider your next steps.
Stage 1 is for you if you need tailored support to think about your future and to develop skills for life, work, and learning.
You will build skills to better organise your life, have increased confidence, make informed and positive choices and start to develop the personal qualities that employers require.
Progression to Stage 2 will mean that you have developed the skills to sustain a more structured provision in post-school training. You may still require a significant level of support to continue to develop the life, work and learning skills to move on.
