Planning Aid Scotland - Virtual Work Placement

Description:
You will speak with Planning Aid Scotland staff about the work they do, their career pathways and how to give professional advice to communities. You will get involved with and learn about workplace behaviours, how to give advice, a community project and volunteer management.

Suitable Audience:
Senior Phase learners who are happy and confident in online interactions. This should be targeted at learners who require a work placement experience (e.g., school leavers, applicants for jobs etc.), have curriculum capacity, (free/study periods) or a keen interest in exploring careers in the industry sectors participating in this trial.

When:
One full week, either w/c 29 May, 5 June, or 12 June 2023

Format:
The placement will last for a full week (approximately 4 hours each day, with a mix of live online work with the employer and self-directed activities)

What skills will you gain:
Develop teamwork, Project management, Customer service skills, Administration and organisational skills

Qualification gained:
The placement will provide the learning required for a certificated work placement qualification at SCQF level 4, 5 or 6.
