Wyvis Roofing are a roofing contractor covering Inverness and the Highlands delivering first class workmanship and customer service to clients in the domestic and commercial sectors. We offer a full range of roofing services from slating and tiling to flat roofing, sheeting and cladding to specialist lead work and other specialist roofing services.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Business Administration/Accounts Apprentice to join our team

Primary responsibilities and duties
The role includes a range of administrative duties including:

• Dealing with telephone enquiries

• Logging estimating enquiries received by phone/email and preparing
stencil of details to pass to estimators

• Typing estimating quotes

• Logging job orders received and drafting jobs sheets for employees to

• Purchase invoices – matching to purchase orders – processing
purchase invoices onto Sage accounting software

• Drafting sales invoices on Sage for review – issuing finalised invoices
to customers

What will I learn?

Accounts – matching invoices to purchase orders and processing on accounts software, drafting sales invoices on accounts software – accuracy required when processing.
Organisational – recording enquiries and job order

What qualification or qualities are required?

You’ll have a head start in this vacancy if you’ve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. We’ll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement
