FutureLearn Choices - Bridging the gap between school and university

Keep learning, wherever you are
Is coronavirus affecting your education or work? Explore online courses to continue studying, build professional skills, and connect with experts.

The courses are provided by many top UK universities, run for three to eight weeks during June and July, and can be taken anywhere, anytime on mobile, tablet or PC.

They’re designed to help you make the most of post-exam term time and the start of your summer holidays, so that you’re prepared for and relaxed about the important decisions you’ll need to make in the new academic year.

The courses offer 16 to 19 year olds the chance to:
  • try out new subjects: such as coding, robotics or forensic science, to get a taste of a degree or career in the field
  • make a great university application: with advice on writing personal statements and preparing for interviews
  • get ready for university: by gaining skills such as critical thinking or the advanced maths that’s required for degree-level study.
You can find out more and join any of the courses at: www.futurelearn.com/collections/choices
