We are recruiting for a number of Apprentice CNC Setters/Operators for our busy Precision Manufacturing division in Aviemore.
Hydrasun PMD manufacture an industry leading range of high quality precision machined products for hydraulic interface applications. Utilising the very latest, state of the art, in-house manufacturing and inspection equipment, this is a fantastic opportunity to begin an exciting and rewarding career with an innovative employer.
In partnership with Inverness College, the successful candidates will be enrolled into the ‘Performing Engineering Operations Level 2’ course on a block release basis and following completion of the course, will join Hydrasun on a full-time basis in order to gain a Modern Apprenticeship in Manufacturing Engineering.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in Engineering to begin a CNC career. We’re interested in hearing from dedicated individuals who are willing to apply themselves & fully engage with the fantastic training opportunities on offer. No prior experience is necessary.
The salary range specified above begins at the starting point for 1st year apprentices through to the salary on completion of the 3-4 year apprenticeship.

What will I learn?
Working in a supported learning environment, you will develop the skills and knowledge which will assist you in attaining your formal qualification and progressing in your career. This will include a combination of on-the-job training, mentoring, coaching and attending college. Following completion of the 3-4 apprenticeship, you will become a fully qualified CNC Machinist.
What qualification or qualities are required?
Candidates should ideally hold or be working toward qualifications at National 4 level (or equivalent) in English, Maths and a Science or Technical subject.
