What do we offer at Stage 4?
We offer the Certificate of Work Readiness as part of the employability fund programme. This is a work focused programme. The aim is that you will move into employment or training at the end of this programme. You will complete a 2 week intensive training course with Barnardo’s Works and then complete a 6-8 week work experience placement.

What can you achieve?
At Stage 4 you could achieve the SQA Certificate of Work Readiness. This will provide valuable information to help you secure future employment or further learning.
Can I get a training allowance?
You may be entitled to receive a weekly training allowance of up to £55 if you are not registered with the Job Centre. If you are registered with the Job Centre you could receive a training allowance equal to your DWP benefit allowance. You will be given a monetary allowance for your travel costs throughout the duration of training.
