The Be There Grants Scheme for writers and publishers

The Be There Grants scheme aims to support writers and publishers to increase their international marketing activities and to find new markets for their work.

Be There Grants are for writers and publishers living and working in the Highlands & Islands of Scotland to assist with the costs of attendance and participation at international trade fairs, festivals and similar marketing and promotional events.
The maximum grant available is £1,500, and level of grant awarded will vary depending on the nature of the event, the costs of participation and the projected benefit of attendance at the event.

There are no deadlines for submissions, application is open year-round but funds are limited, and will be assessed on a first-come, first-served basis.

To apply for an award please contact Peter Urpeth.
