R.A.L. – Rape and Abuse Line

R.A.L. offer a confidential telephone support for people who have survived rape and/or abuse, no matter how long ago their experiences were. They also offer support to the families, partners and friends of the person who has been affected. In some parts of the Grampian and Highland areas of Scotland, the service can offer face to face support and/or counselling. RAL’s support workers offer a Person Centred Approach which means that rather than advise the client, they work with them to help them find the way forward that is right for them. All of their support workers receive monthly professional supervision, on–going training and have been cleared by Disclosure Scotland.
