CHIP+ is a charity based in Inverness but covering all of the Highlands.
It gives free, confidential advice to anyone involved with young people and children (from birth to age 19) with additional support needs. Sometimes that means a disability but it can also be anything (for example: family circumstances, or a particular situation) which prevents people reaching their full potential in education and in life.
CHIP+ works particularly with parents/carers and professionals, through an Enquiry helpline, supporting families at school meetings, and providing training and workshops. It also runs a free lending library (books can be posted to other parts of the Highlands), has a newsletter which goes out to 3000 people, and produces varous informations packs.
CHIP+ is delighted to be part of the team which produces the hi-hope.org directory!
