Payroll Administrator - Equiom Scotland

Job purpose and overall objective

To undertake a range of duties on behalf of our payroll clients working alongside an experienced and qualified team using the latest systems.

Main or key responsibilities

Administering and processing client payroll submissions and auto enrolment requirements
Ensuring the timely receipt and processing of all payroll data in accordance with deadlines
Preparing standard client reports and administering PAYE/NIC/auto enrolment pensions
Paying payroll tax and any other required deductions
Providing support to clients via phone or email and liaising with HMRC as and when required
Managing customer data and any other associated administration
Housekeeping and procedural documentation

Essential experience and qualifications

Educated to a minimum of Higher Grade
Excellent IT skills
Possess an accurate and methodical approach to data handling

Desirable experience and qualification
Previous experience of handling and processing sensitive data

Excellent customer service/people skills
Good time management
Diligent, with attention to detail
